International travellers
People coming and going
Every year more Australians travel overseas and more international visitors arrive.
You can help protect Australia from the spread of pests, diseases and weeds.
When you arrive it’s important to declare certain food, plant material (including wooden articles) and animal products.
Also make sure your recreational equipment and clothing is thoroughly cleaned and dried of any soil and plant material. You must declare these items to a biosecurity officer for inspection.
If you’re not sure, just declare it.
Don’t be sorry. Just declare it
