Healthy plants, healthy people The ‘Healthy plants healthy people’ conference ties into the UN proclaimed International Year of Plant Health and will contribute to raising awareness of how protecting plant health can support people through health and well-being, economic development, protecting the environment, providing food security and helping to end poverty. It will be a ‘ground up’ practical conference to assist businesses be agile, flexible and responsive in a changing business and operating environment.
Find out more »Enlighten Festival is shining a spotlight on Canberra’s talented filmmakers as competition sparks creativity. For the 17th year of Lights! Canberra! Action! the theme is ‘planted’, which will tie in with the International Year of the Plant as well as 100 years since Canberra began populating. Filmmakers will also be given a list of ten items to include in their movie, with only ten days to shoot, edit and produce a seven minute film.
